Joey Quiñones from East LA soul collective Thee Sinseers is on the show. Led by Joey, Thee Sinseers are part of a new generation carrying forward the rich tradition of Chicano soul, drawing on the music they grew up with while creating a sound that’s firmly their own. Their new album, Love Stories, explores love from all sides, from falling head over heels to heartbreak, regret and second chances. Joey tells Craig about the stories behind the record, growing up surrounded by the sounds of East LA and the joys and occasional complications of making music with a band that can number eleven people.
