Rob Phillips takes your calls on community hospitals, north-south travel in Wales and loud phones.

The Phone In

A public meeting is being held in Ystradgynlais today over potential plans to remove inpatient beds from community hospitals in Powys. More than 3,500 people have signed a petition against the plans, which the Liberal Democrats describe as "hospital closures in all but name". Powys Teaching Health Board say a formal consultation will come later this year, and that residents will get the chance to share their views before any decision. But how important are community and cottage hospitals to you? Do you still have them where you are? It was an all-Welsh clash in the EFL Championship last night, as Rubin Colwill's last minute heroics rescued Cardiff a point against Wrexham. But with the game scheduled for an 8pm kick off under the lights, many Wrexham fans wouldn't have made it home from the capital until the early hours. Rail closures meant the return Transport for Wales train journey was rerouted, and was not due back in Wrexham until just after 2am. And for fans travelling by road, a number of roadworks were in place for the return journey. So it got us thinking... is it time for more action on north-south travel in Wales? What is your experience like of traversing the country? And finally, the pub chain Wetherspoons has banned customers from taking phone calls on loudspeaker, and playing music from their phones. Announcing the ban on Monday, the company said people are "being driven nuts by other people's videos and amplified phone conversations". So are loud phone calls and sounds driving you round the bend? Call or WhatsApp 03700 100 110 or Text 8 10 12. Be part of the nations' conversation.
