Hundreds dead and missing following flash floods in Nepal-Tibet

Rescue teams have worked through the night to locate survivors of the devastating flash floods that hit northern Nepal, killing nearly two hundred people. Hundreds of people including tourists remain missing.

Facebook and Instagram owner Meta has agreed to pay up to $18bn to settle claims brought by 29 US states that its platforms harmed children.

And Uefa will press on with its attempt to remove Gianni Infantino as Fifa president despite withdrawing the threat to boycott competitions. BBC Sport understands Uefa is confident that a unity candidate can be found to stand against Infantino when he is up for re-election in March.
