US President Donald Trump says the Israel-Lebanon ceasefire will be extended by three weeks after talks at the White House. While significant, the ceasefire still amounts to an attempt to stem the renewed fighting that broke out when Trump himself, along with his Israeli allies, launched their war on Iran – any settlement of which is still elusive.
In later remarks to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump says "I don't want to rush myself" when it comes to making a deal with Iran.
