Golfer's one-in-six-million hole-in-one
Matt Vigurs, from Droitwich, scored an astonishing albatross on the 411-yard par-4 at Great Barr Golf Club, thought to be the longest ever scored in the country and only a few yards short of the world record.
The Worcestershire first team player tells Elliott Webb how he only turned to golf in February 2026, following eight years abroad. He now has a total of four aces to his name, including two as a junior and another scored weeks before his latest - at the Droitwich Club Championships.
He says the celebrations stretched from Birmingham back to Droitwich.
