POP STARS AND POLITICS
All of the remaining support acts on Ed Sheeran's US tour have quit, after the rapper Macklemore was dropped from the line-up for making pro-Palestinian remarks on stage. In his statement Ed Shereen said "Macklemore coming off tour was the promoter's decision, it was not mine”….."I am not complicit," "I have my personal views on this devastating conflict. TRIPLE LOCK
The state pension is expected to top £13,000 a year, reigniting the debate about its long-term affordability and generational fairness. Is the triple lock still fit for purpose or is it time for a rethink?

E-SCOOTERS
Seizures of e-scooters and e-motorbikes are growing - more than five times as many were taken off Scotland's streets in 2025 compared with two years earlier. Supporters say they're an affordable way to travel and socialise. Critics say they're intimidating communities and putting people at risk. So what's happening where you live?

COLLECTABLES
Pokemon fans across the country will be lining up outside of shops this morning for the release of a very special set of trading cards - as the 30th Anniversary set goes on sale today. Everyone collects something. So what's your thing? We’d love to find the weirdest collection in Scotland, the most valuable, the biggest, or the one item you'd rescue first if the house was on fire.
