Tomorrow, thousands of people find out where they will be heading to University in September. We discuss the rising costs they face when choosing accommodation and hear some tips to help students – and parents – keep on top of their finances.

We need your help! Many of you have been emailing in having bought goods from online retailers that you believed were based in the UK but are actually drop shipping operations from China. If the items arrive, they are of a terrible quality and efforts for a refund are often fruitless. So, we want you to contact us and tell us if this is something you’ve been impacted by.

If you’ve been in a car accident, many insurers will cover the use of a hire care whilst yours is being fixed. However, it is by no means a requirement to receive a hire car in order to make a claim on your insurance. We’ve been contacted by a listener who was made to believe he had to accept a hire car despite turning it down multiple times.

Over 1000 organisations in the charity and non-profit sector, including Lincoln Cathedral and English National Ballet, are thought to be implicated in a data breach after a company called Beacon CRM was hacked. Bank details are not included in the hack, but things like personal details and email addresses could be. We’ll discuss what you can do to protect your data.
