The King will meet local leaders and community groups in Grimsby

King Charles is to visit Grimsby on Thursday, Buckingham Palace has announced.

A palace spokesperson said he would meet local leaders, organisations, businesses and residents "working together to build a stronger future for the town".

The King will visit the Horizon Youth Zone, which provides out-of-school activities for young people.

The centre, on Garth Lane, offers activities ranging from sports to cooking, creative and performing arts, media and employability support.

He will also visit the CARE Hub, which provides support to people in crisis.

The organisation has been operating for more than 30 years and provides a housing programme, advice centre, food pantry and a furniture recycling project.

The King will also meet with local leaders at Grimsby Town's Blundell Park ground.
