its got to be Jorge by a long shot. Who did he get that call from? Nobody knows.....he was with Merche when the tape recorder was stolen.

I think Lola is the one Merche should beware of. Lola seems very nosy.The others seem O.K.

Merche didn't come out to talk to Lola when she knocked on the door. Lola was peeking into the room when she handed us the cakes.

Lola was living at the flat where Merche lived. Juan Rodriguez could have placed her there to keep a eye on Merche and her investigation, the cakes she gave as a gift askes 1 question,
did she put poison in them in the hopes off killing Merche?
But that does not draw off my suspicions of Jorge, that phone call he had could have been with the pickpocket.
It could of been both of them.

I think its the neighbour because she kept turning up when you least expected her. As though she was keeping an eye on Merche's place. But then again, every time she went somewhere else the man turned up. How did he know where Merche was so quickly unless her friends were letting him know she'd arrived.

Lola was a bit sketchy with the surprise visit with the cake and then peering into the apartment. Jorge was on the phone a lot and knew where Merche was the night her tape recorder got stolen. Esther is definitely not an option. She was much too kind hearted and hospitable. An Raul was the one to pursue and rescue her, so it's definitely not him either. I'm not sure! Anybody else have any facts other than mine against or for these suspects?

Lola might have poisoned the cakes that she gave to you. when she gave them to you she tried to look around the flat. Also, she was creepy.
